Dental implants

Single-Tooth Implants

A single implant replaces one tooth without reshaping the neighboring teeth, as a traditional bridge would require.

Timing options

  • Immediate placement at the time of extraction, when bone and tissue conditions allow
  • Socket preservation after extraction, followed by implant placement after healing
  • Placement in a site where the tooth was lost earlier, with grafting if the ridge has narrowed

Restoration

Implant treatment is planned with your restorative dentist, who typically designs and places the final crown, bridge, or denture. We place the implant and manage the surrounding gum and bone; your dentist restores it.
