Pocket Reduction Surgery

Pocket reduction surgery is a procedure that allows us to get access to the root of your teeth so we can remove any tartar and harmful bacteria that has built up. This treatment is highly effective in combating the effects of periodontal disease by reducing inflammation and eliminating bacteria.

During a pocket reduction surgery, we will pull your gums back from your teeth and gently remove any harmful bacteria. After we’ve cleared away everything hiding beneath the surface, we will suture the gums with tiny stitches that should take about five to ten days to heal.
